We can help you with self-defense by developing many attributes through the following classes:

Jun Fan Gung-Fu / The Art & Philosophy of Jeet Kune Do
The Jun Fan martial arts include the Gung-Fu and kickboxing methods developed by the late Bruce Lee. This art covers four major ranges of combat: kicking, punching, trapping and grappling.

  • Jun Fan / Jeet Kune Do Kickboxing — a mix of American/Filipino boxing, French Savate and Muay Thai boxing.
  • Jeet Kune Do Grappling Mix — consists of Filipino Dumog, Shoot Wrestling, Brazilian jiu jitsu and other wrestling disciplines. This class will have locks, sweeps, throws and falls. Learn how to handle someone standing, kneeling or just flat out on the ground.  CONTROL TACTICS is the name of the game.
  • Jeet Kune Do Aerobics — before it was even popular, the late Bruce Lee trained to music to develop rhythm and broken rhythm. Classes will offer a way to stay in shape working with techniques used in the martial arts.

 Wing Chun Kung-Fu
This art teaches the finer aspects of precision trapping as taught to us by Sifu Francis Fong.  Wing Chun, originally developed by a woman, has precision structure, mechanical advantage, and fluidity.

 Muay Thai Boxing
An excellent art for conditioning both the mind and the body! Emphasis is placed on form, conditioning and discipline. This art originated in Thailand. Striking techniques involve kicks, knees, elbows and punches. Originally a ring sport, this art is very effective in self-defense situations, plus outstanding for keeping yourself in great shape.

Kali / Eskrima   These Filipino martial arts place heavy emphasis on the use of weapons (single, double sticks, stick & dagger, dagger, staff, flexible weapons, etc.) as well as empty hands. The attributes of sensitivity, awareness, contact reflexes, footwork, coordination and many more are developed to a very high degree with this art. We teach a blend of Filipino systems such as the La Coste System, Balintawak (Ancion Bacon/Ted Buot method),  Lameco and more.

Pencak Silat      Mande Muda Pencak Silat (pronounced Pen-chok See-lot) is an Indonesian art comprising 24 different styles of Silat. Silat involves punching, kicking, sweeping & throwing, ground fighting, and weaponry techniques that make it a dynamic and effective self-defense form.

All classes aid in developing Physical Fitness AND Brain Fitness.  People that live a long and healthy life derive their longevity from not only physical activity, they have brain activity coordinated with the physical activity to achieve this healthy lifestyle.  It has been shown that brain elasticity greatly reduces the senile aging process.  Brain elasticity comes from using your brain in conjuction with using your body to enhance your well being.
